It’s 1959, and Rydell High School’s senior class is in rare form. The too-cool-for-school “Burger Palace Boys” are stealing hub-caps and acting tough and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking “Pink Ladies” are tagging along in bobby sox and pedal pushers. At the heart of the story is the romance between head "greaser" Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl in town, Sandy Dumbrowski. They had a romance in the summer, but now back in the context of school, peer-pressure and cliques make their love a bit more complicated. Can Danny maintain his cool dude status and still get make demure Sandy his girl? Filled with such classics as "Summer Nights", "Greased Lightnin'," , "You're the One that I Want" and "We Go Togther", Grease recalls the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley and became the soundtrack of a generation. An eight-year run on Broadway, two subsequent revivals and a hit film has propelled Grease its place among the world's most popular musicals.
Enrollment for this play will be limited to 25 participants.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE POPULARITY OF THIS TITLE, WE EXPECT GREASE TO FILL EXTREMELY QUICKLY.
To ensure your participation, please register early and avoid disappointment!

"You want fame? Well, fame costs. And right here is where you start paying." "Right here" is the School of Performing Arts in New York City, and the first problem for the hundreds of young people eager to start paying their dues in pursuit of fame in the performing arts is to get accepted. As the play begins, the school is in the midst of auditioning applicants. They're every size, shape and attitude. They're scared, they're brave, they're rich and they're poor. They've got nothing in common but a compelling dream—and each pursues it in a special way just as each must deal with the special problems of their various lives. The dramatic riches explored and developed in this play as the various students interact with each other and with their teachers—who must present a tough exterior but who care so very much—create an exciting theatrical tapestry in this play. Like the School of Performing Arts, this play goes to the essence of young people and of theatre.
Due to the nature of this play and to retain
its integrity, we will be limiting enrollment
to a maximum of 15 participants. To ensure
your participation, please register early
and avoid disappointment!
